Presidents
Message:
Really short article this month,
things have been somewhat quiet since Oklahoma Thunder but I suspect
we're all recouped by now and it's time to start planning some summer
activities. As you'll see Mrs. Bailey has kicked it off with a dinner
at Elmers bar-b-que in the middle of the month, so let's all
attend and get our social schedule back on track.
Here's some more of the "I'm
out if things to talk about" space fillers!
THE TRUE DEFINITION OF TOOLS
HACKSAW: One
of a family of cutting tools built on the Ouiji board principle. It
transforms human energy into a crooked, unpredictable motion and the
more you attempt to influence its course, the more dismal you future
becomes.
TWEEZERS: A tool for
removing wood splinters and wire wheel wires.
E-Z OUT BOLT AND
STUD EXTRACTOR: A tool ten times harder than any known drill bit that
snaps off in bolt holes you couldn't use anyway.
TWO- TON
ENGINE HOIST: A tool for testing the tensile strength on everything
you forgot to disconnect.
HOSE CUTTER: A tool
used to cut hoses too short.
See You At Meeting.........J.B.

Corvette
Trivia:
May
On
July 2, 1992 in Bowling Green Kentucky, a white Corvette roadster
with red interior rolled down the assembly line. It marked what
milestone in the number of Corvettes built?
-
750,000
-
1,250,000
-
1,500,000
-
1,000,000
Chevrolet
deliberately arranged for the 1,000,000th car to be white with a red
interior to show the continuity of the original concept. The
headrest also had unique embroidery proclaiming the cars
historical status.
